Invictus Wellbeing’s mission statement is to improve children and young people’s mental and emotional health and wellbeing by ensuring that all children and young people, regardless of background, have access to the support they want and need.
Invictus Wellbeing began in 2015 when their founder and CEO faced his own challenges with mental health and realised that they stemmed from his childhood. They became a charity in 2021, allowing them to continue their journey and offer more and more support.
West Yorkshire Liaison and Diversion work in partnership with Invictus Wellbeing to offer timely, effective and accessible mental health and wellbeing interventions to children and young people at risk of crime or who have been through custody. Therapeutic Practitioners are seconded into our Calderdale and Kirklees teams to deliver one to one counselling support.
